Great Service from Office Selection

I needed some printer pads for an old,no longer made, printer/calculator. Martin Taylor of Office Selection tracked some down and delivered them the next day. Great Service!

Outsourcing IT support

These days, IT isn’t quite the same black art it used to be - business owners were often under the impression that IT was so complex that they would need to employ a full time member of staff to look after it. This doesn’t need to be the case today.

A typical small to medium-sized business would historically have employed a dedicated IT person who would be responsible for looking after complex server set-ups, software updates and general day-to-day issues. Businesses would rely solely on this individual, which in itself would be a dangerous thing to do.

IT Support from £20 a month

Orchid IT have announced the launch of an exciting new IT support product aimed at the small business market called 'Vision Essentials'.

Now small businesses can enjoy an award winning outsourced IT support facility at a low price point, at just £20 per user per month, so suitable for every budget.

Vision Essentials customers will have access to the same pool of highly qualified technical support engineers and will also gain the benefits of Orchid's remote monitoring and support software. The full details of the Vision Essentials package are:

Bombardier

Hi Chaps

Thanks for help to date with Bombardier petition.
This email to see if you /GF4B are willing to start a ball rolling on GF4B, LinkedIn or whatever other platforms are available.

There is a ‘war’ taking place and it may well affect most / all of GF4B members. I am standing up to be counted.
If Bombardier decide to pull out of the UK some 12,000 jobs will be at risk and individuals will have less to spend on all manner of services offered by GF4B members - so there is very much vested interest. The clock is ticking.

What is going to happen to the EDMA and AWM

Following my attendance at the Gone Fishing meeting in Burton yesterday I was asked to highlight some of the current activity surrounding the closure of the RDAs, emda and AWM, the ongoing provision of business support and what is happening about legacy information from emda.
